The Power of Her Women in Leadership Symposium saw more than 1,000 people come together to advance gender equality and open doors for future generations. Attendees left determined to achieve enduring change together that makes a difference in the lives of girls and women.
To carry on the legacy of this event, the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing will continue to harness power for gender equality through events, resources and the work of the Women in Sport Taskforce.
Let’s tackle gender inequality and all that inhibits women from equally and actively leading in every aspect of the community and economy.

RESOURCES
Women and girls remain under-served in sport when compared to men and boys. It is of critical importance that sport and recreation organisations continue to increase the representation of women and girls to better reflect Australian society and create a more equitable and inclusive environment. The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing has developed resources to assist organisations in their efforts to increase female membership and representation.
